Position Overview:
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business and maintaining relationships with current clients through outbound calls, emails, and virtual meetings. This role requires excellent communication and customer service skills to identify potential opportunities, qualify leads, and close sales. The Inside Sales Representative will collaborate closely with the sales team and marketing department to meet revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Conduct outbound calls and emails to identify new business opportunities and generate leads.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients by offering tailored solutions and providing product information.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Effectively manage and update the sales pipeline using CRM software, tracking progress from lead generation through closing.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on company products and services to confidently present and sell them to customers.
- Follow-Up: Ensure timely follow-up with leads and existing clients to nurture relationships and maximize sales potential.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the outside sales team, engineering groups, technical service & administrative departments to ensure customer satisfaction and streamline the sales process.
Education and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in inside sales, telemarketing, or customer service, preferably in manufacturing or industrial packaging industries.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong negotiation skills to close deals and handle objections effectively.
- Flexible in sales tactics based on customer feedback, product updates, or market changes.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new products or technologies.
